What Does EcoMS Do?
EcoMS Consulting provides comprehensive advisory services in environmental protection and ESG, ISO standards implementation, energy consulting, and enterprise security. EcoMS focuses on supporting clients in implementing complex, large-scale changes within their organizations.
With over 20 years of experience, EcoMS has conducted more than 11,000 audits, delivered 4,000 training sessions, and collaborates continuously with over 500 manufacturing facilities for companies such as Unilever, Toyota Manufacturing PL, Saint-Gobain, Dell, and Avon.
Objectives of the collaboration
The EcoMS team has set a strategic goal for the coming years to digitize their services, optimize processes, and implement solutions that will enhance their operational efficiency and improve customer experience.
The objective of the collaboration with iMakeable is to create dedicated solutions and modernize existing applications in a way that meets the current needs of the team.

In workshops, we identify the needs, issues, and limitations of existing solutions that do not align with current operational processes.
Solution design
We create interactive interface prototypes and review them with the EcoMS team to ensure that our proposed solutions align with the processes and changes we aim to implement.
Development and implementation
We develop features in two-week iterations. Each iteration concludes with the addition of new functionalities to the application, which, after testing, are ready for use by the EcoMS team.
The iMakeable team helped us identify which features were worth implementing and which would not add value, allowing us to reduce the costs of these changes.

Optimizing the newsletter dispatch process
In the first phase of our collaboration, we focused on improving the process for sending newsletters with legal updates relevant to EcoMS clients. During workshops, we identified that the existing application was slow and required in-depth knowledge to use effectively. It lacked the ability to add new users and required external management of newsletter statuses, complicating workflows and forcing the EcoMS team to use multiple applications to manage and send newsletters.
The application we developed integrates several tools to streamline the process. It allows users to create a draft newsletter, specify the legal act identifier and description, set target audience groups, and connect directly to the newsletter dispatch system. We also implemented a status-tracking system to help the EcoMS team manage the stages of newsletter creation.
As a result, we reduced the time needed to prepare a single newsletter from 6-8 hours to less than 60 minutes.
Modernizing the audit application
Another area where we’re streamlining processes is the application used for conducting compliance audits with legal requirements. Key improvements include:
- Integration with the LEX legal information database
- Design updates for improved usability
- Modifications to simplify user stories
These changes have significantly reduced the time required for audits, of which the EcoMS team conducts hundreds each year.
In the next project phases, we’ll focus on updating the application’s logic to simplify the process of informing clients about regulatory requirements and changes that affect their audits. This will enhance collaboration between EcoMS and clients, ultimately shortening the time required for audits and the implementation of necessary organizational changes.
New business line and process optimization
The third phase of our collaboration involves creating an application that will enable a new, scalable business line for EcoMS. This application will allow EcoMS clients to maintain compliance with specific legal requirements in a simplified way, reducing the need for direct auditor involvement.
We’re also working on digitizing EcoMS's internal processes and daily tasks. By analyzing existing processes, we aim to identify those that consume the most time and deliver the highest gains through automation.

Our collaboration has significantly reduced the time the EcoMS team spends on repetitive, routine tasks. By freeing up additional team hours, we’ve been able to initiate further transformative projects that enhance service margins.
